• Katherine was last seen in Homecoming, but will be making a re-appearance in this episode.
• Elena will finally make a choice between Damon and Stefan.
• Candice Accola recently admitted that she cried reading the script for the finale.
• We will see Damon telling Elena the first time he laid eyes on her knowing she wasnt Katherine.
• According to Ian Somerhalder (in a Spoiler Chat Daily article), we can expect some Delena goodness in the season finale and we will also see how much Damon really cares about Elena.
• According to TV Guide, Ian Somerhalder has said, „Whats interesting about whats happening right now is the dynamic between the brothers. They are starting to really bond. A tease about the episode coming up is really about these brothers overcoming their disdain for each other and ultimately realizing that family is really embedded into the fabric of who we are and if you can connect with that its really powerful.“
• In an interview, Joseph Morgan said that the season 3 finale will shed some light on past events that happened in season 1, and Ian Somerhalder said something happens between Damon and Elena that he never thought of as Damon.
• There will be a massive, unexpected death in this episode.
• When he spoke to TV Guide, he spilled that Damon and Elena (Nina Dobrev) are going to share a moment in the finale. “It’s ridiculously emotional … [the] scene with Damon and Elena and it was a very, very introspective scene that brought me back to the beginning of the show.” Co-star Joseph Morgan (Klaus) thinks viewers will get a sense of déjà vu as well, saying certain aspects of the episode will “shed some light on events that go way back to the beginning of the first season.”
• Julie Plec said we will finally see who is behind The Darkness.
• According to TVLine, executive producer Julie Plec has said „confusion“ is „the key word…for Elena.“ She needs to figure out what she feels for each of them, and spending time with one and then the other does seem to be a pretty good way for her to do that. This is all leading up to her making a choice, and Plec says „the big thing with her choice is shes not the one in complete control of it.“ This is „really a decision about what does love mean to me and to us and where are we supposed to be in our lives with each other.“ It does seem about time for her to make that decision, and considering everything thats happened between her and each vampire, it would be surprising if she wasnt confused. What will her decision mean for everyone in season 4?

Ask Ausiello: Question: Can I have a Vampire Diaries spoiler on Caroline and Klaus? —Elizabeth Ausiello: Our gal is going to be seriously conflicted when it comes a certain Original. “Caroline doesn’t understand what draws her to Klaus [just like] any young woman who is seduced by and charmed by and intrigued by a dangerous man,” says EP Julie Plec. “There’s a lot of things that she can’t really explain about herself and her connection to him.” But there is one thing that she knows for certain. “She’s made her loyalty to Tyler and her love for Tyler very clear and will continue to have to do that.” However, that might not be enough to reassure her hybrid boyfriend, who’s “jealous and pissed off” about her new sorta-relationship with his sire. “[Tyler will] deal with that in the next episode, realizing that, ‘Hey, I sort of brought this on myself by leaving and leaving the opening for this guy to come in and move in on my girl,’” previews Plec. “Unfortunately, there’s still the question remaining: Was he able to effectively break that sire bond, or is he in for a rude awakening? You’ll definitely see that play out over the next couple [of episodes].”

Question: Any scoop on Vampire Diaries, Supernatural or Sons of Anarchy would make my day! Do you still accept cases of Snapple as a bribe? —Amy Ausiello: I choose TVD (and diet raspberry iced tea, thank you). And, if you’re a Rebekah fan, Amy, you’ll be especially interested — and relieved — to know that, even though her mother is currently possessing her body, the lone Original sister is OK. “It’s a temporary problem,” Plec assures. “It will resolve itself quickly and effectively.” But first, Esther will use Alaric to try to get what she wants. “What she sees in [his] alter ego is someone who loathes vampires and could be a useful ally in her quest to kill her children,” teases Plec. “She has big plans for the hunter in him.” As for when the gang will figure out that Rebekah isn’t really herself, “it all comes to a head right away in the next episode.”

Question: I’m dying to know if there are any spoilers you have for Bonnie on The Vampire Diaries at all? It seems like she’s barely on this season. —Suzy Ausiello: She’s in this Thursday’s episode, and according to exec producer Julie Plec, she “gets to get gorgeous and have a date, which seems like it should be awesome and is briefly a really nice time for her. But then, unfortunately, as things tend to at the Decade Dances, the date gets disrupted and her date, Jamie, gets to see the other side of her life, which is how she saves the day.”

E!Online On TVD, anything on the love triangle? Anything at all? Ill take anything! Well, as you saw in last weeks episode, Elena and Damon are just getting started with their, um, lets call it exploration of feelings. And Ian Somerhalder is girding himself for more backlash, since just one kiss launched a million fan wars on the Internet. „I think a lot of them were really excited and a lot of them were really angry,“ he tells us about Elena and Damons make out session. „It was like a minefield, the Internet, the twitter-verse and everything. I think it became like a minefield. One kiss.“ Whats going to happen if Elena chooses Damon in the finale? Play nice, TVD fans!

TV Guide Is Rebekah really dead on The Vampire Diaries? — Rachel NATALIE: Not exactly. Now that Esther has the white oak dagger from Alarics alter ego, shell leave Rebekahs body and return to her own. But Esther isnt done with Alaric yet. In Thursdays episode, shell reveal that she needs something from both Alaric and Elena to carry out her plan of eliminating her family. And what Esther wants, Esther will get.

e!online Please tell me well be getting more Delena goodness on Vampire Diaries! Sorry Damon and Elena fans, but your favorite ship takes a backseat to Stefan and Elena in tonights episode, which contains barely any interaction between Delena at all. Stefan and Elena, on the other hand, share some pretty tender moments, including one that may cause water to fall from your eyes. So, yeah, this love triangle is just getting more and more intense, and we cant get enough.

Please, give me something about the Vampire Diaries season finale. I hope we will see new villain there. Ausiello: New blood is headed to Mystic Falls, but it probably won’t arrive until the fall. “We definitely have some exciting new characters that we’re talking about for next year,” previews exec producer Julie Plec. “And, of course, we’ve got our already enormous ensemble to make sure we keep servicing properly.” Speaking of the VD finale, did you see these?!

Any chance Katherine will resurface before the finale of Vampire Diaries? Ausiello: Not unless a certain someone is taken out first. “You will not see nor hear of Katherine until Klaus is gone for good,” says Plec. “His survival ties into her appearance, or lack thereof.” As for whether Original vamp Elijah will return this season, Plec coyly offers a “Maybe.”

Whats going to happen to Bonnie on The Vampire Diaries? NATALIE: Sure, she was bitten by Alaric, but that doesnt mean shes going to go the way her mother did — in fact, Damon will see to that by saving her life. However, their Alaric issues are much more pressing since hes immortal now. Can the spell be reversed? Yes, but Bonnie doesnt know how to do that particular „kill your ex-history teacher whos now a vampire-hunting vampire“ spell… yet. Were guessing that her witch-turned-vampire mother might be able to help her though.

SO excited that Elijah is returning in the Vampire Diaries finale! Any hints on what hell be up to? Maybe facing off against Alaric? Funny you should ask, because we served up that exact question to Daniel Gillies when we chatted with him about a cause close to his heart. „I cant say,“ he says of a possible Elijah-Alaric face-off. „But at this stage, if you were Elijah, wouldnt you just want to get the hell out of a place causing so many problems? Elijah really has a thing for Elena if hes sticking around.“ Maybe Elenas choice is…Elijah?! We ship it.

I cant believe The Vampire Diaries finale is Thursday! What will we learn from the flashback to Elenas parents accident? NATALIE: For one thing, it wasnt part of some bigger conspiracy. „That was an accident. Period. End of story. No supernatural influence,“ executive producer Julie Plec says. But on the season finale, Elena and Matts impending accident will seem oddly reminiscent of the Gilbert family crash — including who saves them.

Takže na internetu kolovali spoilery, že ve finále bude pusa mezi někým, no teď vyšlo najevo, že to bude Stefan a Elena.

Já osobně myslím, že tvůrci nám fakt nedají nikdy šanci abychom mohli vidět Damona a Elenu spolu a mě opravdu nezajímá Stefan a Elena. Vždyť už i Sawyera a Kate a všechny jejich LOST scény mám radši (a to jsem dříve byla velký fanda Jacka a Kate) než Stefana a Elenu.

Doufám, že nám tam hodí Katherine co nejdřív zpátky a Elijah tam zůstane co nejdéle než zase na nějakou dobu odejde.

JJ, souhlasím, Stelena už nemá žádnou šťávu, je to furt to samý, a rozhodně by to chtělo změnu. A i když k tomu polibku dojde, nemusí to rezolutně znamenat, že si vybere Stefana. Jeden může pořád ještě doufat:)

How the heck will Klaus feel about losing the doppelganger now that Elena is apparently going to be a vampire on The Vampire Diaries? Well let executive producer Julie Plec take this one: „The loss of the doppelganger is gonna be a BFD for Klaus and will drive his actions for the season. Suddenly hes vulnerable for many reasons. Theres a stake that can kill him, a witch that can desiccate him, and no way to build up the hybrid army he needs — psychologically, at least — to feel safe. Plus, Carolines going to be peeved at him once she realizes he bamboozled her. In other words, he aint gonna be so happy.“

Now that Elena has chosen Stefan on The Vampire Diaries, should we assume Damon will be getting a new love interest next season? Ausiello: “Never say never,” replies EP Jlie Plec. “In the first part of the season, we’re going to be very much invested in what’s going to happen to Elena and what do each of the brothers have to say about it and what are each of them going to do to try to help her through this experience and what does it do to their relationship with each other? Then once the dust settles from that, we’ll see [about a new romance for Damon].”

Tak a teď jaká herečka by se tam k němu hodila, protože momentálně rozhodně nechci Rebeccu s Damonem vzhledem k tomu, že on by měl být ten, kdo ji bude odsuzovat za zabití Eleny.

Osobně si myslím, že by to měla být tmavovláska, ale ne taková jako Elena, trošku divočejší a odvážnější než Elena a určitě holka, co se nebojí riskovat. Myslím, že jsem si Elenu takto vysnila, ale takovou ji tvůrci nenapsali. A herečka? Na jednom webu řekli jméno Phoebe Tonkin, neznám ji, ale na fotkách mi připadá jako super holka pro Damona. Navíc The Secret Circle skončil, takže by nebyl problém.

‘VAMPIRE DIARIES’: CAN VAMPIRE ELENA BE TURNED HUMAN AGAIN?! While Julie Plec and the rest of the writing staff will be hard at work on the fourth season of the Vampire Diaries very soon, her cast certainly has their ideas of where it might go, especially as Elena makes her journey into vampire-dom. Among the most titillating? Paul Wesley’s idea, which he pitched to me this week at the CW upfronts. “I think a lot of this season is going to be about how to fix the issue or deal with it somehow — maybe even reverse it,” he told me. Now, whether or not that’s even possible, time will tell. But one thing he’s sure of? The writers have a big task in front of them. “I am excited but also a little concerned. One of the things that was so important about the show was that there was this innocent girl being infiltrated by these dark characters — these threatening, vicious beings — who were going to suck her blood at any moment and kill her. Now, that’s not a threat any more. We have some very talented writers and I’m sure they’re going to figure it out,” Wesley says. Meanwhile, Ian Somerhalder thinks the gang will come together in light of these new developments. “I can imagine that it’s going to be a team effort [to help Elena]. It’s going to be very odd,” he says. “[And for the brothers], it’s kind of like the walk of shame. There’s this girl you love, you were instrumental in altering her being. It’s going to be interesting.”

Ausiello: Her decision in the finale to help Klaus take possession of Tyler’s body (all for the greater good and unbeknownst to everyone) sets up a very interesting Season 4 for Elena’s BFF. “This is Bonnie’s ‘I am witch woman, hear me roar’ moment,” declares Vampire Diaries EP Julie Plec. “She went and made a decision that she felt was best for the people that she loved, consequences be damned. Bonnie is the true hero in all of this, if you really look at it. She came in and found a way to save the day. Had she not done what she did, all of our heroes would be dead… We’re just seeing the beginning of growth for her, exploring who she is and what it means to be a witch and how she feels about it.”

Question: I need some Vampire Diaries scoop on Delena. Ausiello: Although not specifically about the star-crossed duo, Plec reveals that Year 4 will be the Season of Transition. “Every character is growing up and graduating, so to speak,” she says, “and setting up the future of their grown-up worlds outside of Mystic Falls… Or maybe not.”

Alas, like all things TVD-related, its a bit complicated. Of the repercussions to Bonnies controversial actions in the finale, Julie Plec tells us, „To be truthful, a lot of debates go on in our [writers] room about whether to take Bonnie to to the dark side and the biggest thing that prevents us from doing that is not wanting to feel like were foliowing Willows journey.“ Of course, she is referring to Buffy the Vampire Slayers HWIC, Willow. So will that iconic character stop the Diaries writers from making Bonnie bad? „Shes tapped into some darker stuff…I dont know which way well go with her in season four. Do you go down a road even though people did it really well, do you really want to do that? Or do you ignore what other people did and do it because its right for the character? Im interested to see where we land on that as writers.“ As are we, Julie. As are we!
